Overview: Podcast Branding, Production, and Launch. The client approached me with the concept for Joyous Journeys Over 60, a podcast exploring the joys and challenges of retirement. They needed end-to-end support in turning their vision into a fully produced and launched podcast. This included establishing a cohesive brand identity, sourcing music, and navigating the technical aspects of podcast production.

Challenges: The client required guidance on creating a professional and engaging podcast while managing production remotely across different continents and timezones. They needed:

  • A brand identity, including a logo and podcast cover art.

  • Intro and outro music to serve as the "audio signature" for the series.

  • A clear workflow for collaboration and file management.

  • Technical support for software, platforms, and equipment.

  • Ongoing editing and scheduling of episodes.

  1. Brand Development

    • Designed a podcast logo and cover art that embodied the theme of joyful transitions in retirement, ensuring consistency across all branding.

    • Sourced and selected music that became the signature sound of the podcast, incorporating it into custom intro and outro segments.

  2. Process Setup

    • Guided the client through the entire podcast production process, from selecting recording software to setting up publishing platforms.

    • Established shared workflows, central file management systems, and schedules to ensure seamless collaboration across timezones.

  3. Production & Publishing

    • Edited raw recordings into polished podcast episodes, balancing audio levels and integrating music and transitions.

    • Scheduled and published episodes on a podcast platform, ensuring they were available on all major streaming platforms.


Results: Joyous Journeys Over 60 launched successfully with a professional brand identity and engaging episodes. The streamlined workflows and processes I implemented allowed the client to focus on content creation while I managed the technical and production aspects.
